[Fixt] ZilHoverFly attack error

While fighting the Flying Zil on the waterfall during the plantation quest, alternating between ranged and melee attacks seems to result

I got this error twice in a row.
I was spamming ranged attacks, then attempted to use the special "Power Strike" which resulted in the error.

I reloaded, attempted to recreate the error. This time I spammed normal attacks, then when I tried to use a ranged attack the error occurred.

Attempted a third time. Used "Power Strike" twice in a row and the same error appeared.

Can you share a save? I don't see how this can happen looking at the code.

Found it. The Hoverfly has a "Shields Up" status that causes GroundCombatContainer to smash out this line:
target.shield.shields -= 40;
