[Fixt] [0.69.420 -PUBLIC#1280] Amber Seed can do everything except put feathers on your body

I seem to be unable to use Amber Seeds to get feathers on my character's body. They get feathered arms and a plume on their head, but their appearance always says "The lack of feathers on your skin looks rather strange."

I have attached save files that were made before and after eating a dozen amber seeds. I did use the cheat menu to put them into my inventory due to lack of money, if that makes a difference.

after experimenting to get rid of my character's fluffy fur thinking it maybe just didn't want to change the fur to feathers, I noticed it also doesn't change regular skin to feathers either? then I noticed arms and legs are both labled as feathered and fluffy. so it's just not changing the rest...
