I was wondering what favorite build you guys can recommend me.
I have tried dark mage and that went pretty well but my thief class wasn't that powerful.
So my question is, what is your guys favorite build and how you build it (attribute, powers,...)

My Black Magic Champion is focused on Tease, but has some other options for offense and healing. Usually, I run a Mirror Stance/Great Heal-Arc Cannon-Shatter-Song of Splendor-Revive/Inspiration build.
Normally, I go with Cait and Azzy.

I run a whole bunch of different Champions and build them according to roleplaying hooks, so I don't really have a go-to build. Half those hooks are for things that aren't really optimized like my glass cannon Warrior when that class is really meant for tanking, or my White Mage who pulls double-duty as an archer. My most optimized builds are probably my Black Mage (based around Mirror Stance but she defaults to Greaseball with summoning backup for trash mobs) and my female Thief (Sneak Attack/Garrote and then stab things in the most unsporting manner possible).
I have tried dark mage and that went pretty well but my thief class wasn't that powerful.
Thieves are all about abusing Twist the Knife, so not only do you want to make sure that you have Powers that can inflict status effects (anything that shows up in red on the status panel) but you want to make sure that your companions can inflict debuffs as well to maximize your chance of having one active on the target you're aiming for.

I'm currently playing a Tank Archer. Using the Bessy Mauler, with Heavy Armor as a Warrior. Using the Lucky rings for accuracy.

The key abilities are Mirror Stance, Crackle Powder and Suppressive Fire, with 1 flex ability.

Mirror Stance to steal abilities and generate aggro. Crackle Powder for AoE CC. Suppressive Fire for support and threat generation.

The Suppressive Fire with Bessy Mauler can actually do WORK.

I've had it deal 400+ damage in total because it hit 100+ on 4 targets. While increasing my threat and buffing my allies.

Accuracy is an problem even with the lucky rings, but with blessing, and some accuracy investment, it hasnt been too big on an issue.

It's actually surprising since I felt like I missed 90% of the time with my spellblade using my spiral blade. So it felt weird hitting so consistently with a negative accuracy weapon relative to my spiraled blade.

my favorite class is thief dual wielding chrys. petal and balanced blade with light armor for high initiative and evasion.

my main skills are sneak attack, crowd control, shadow strike, and eviscerate. I snipe out annoying enemies one by one and can kill boss and single enemies very fast.

I'll change skills depending on the area/enemies I'm facing but my attributes and equipment don't change. I have max cunning, strength, and agility and I drink lovers dry to buff my companions damage. I don't do toughness because with my evasion buffed so high I make for a pretty effective dodge tank so the hp and armor isn't necessary.
