Fastest way to progress?

So I lost my savegame (don't ask why) and now I'd like to get to the point I was as quickly as possible since I don't want to replay everything. Now is there a way to progress really fast? Like a cheat for progress? I know there are official cheats like for XP for example but it seems like there are also other cheats like "marcopolo" to unlock (almost) all places and this one is not in the cheat list. But those are not really the ones I'm looking for. So I wondered is there also a cheat for progress? Like completing quests instantly or something like that?

You could download the TiTS editor, start a new character and ramp up those stats and levels. So you can start off at max power and steamroll through quests and planets.

But wouldn't it be the same if I just use the XP cheat? What's so special about the editor? What can I do with it?

A lot.

Remake your old char not just stat wise but body wise give yourself perks that are tough to get and helpful, give yourself credits or the max amount. A ton of stuff man.

XP isn't a big deal. Stat gain is. If you do it the hard way, you'll be cramming with Syri for Intelligence gain, Training with Mirian for Willpower and in general working your ass off in the Ten Ton Gym to get maxed out stats. It takes a while. Probably 200-300 days depending on which stat is your attribute.

Save Editor can also give you a wicked weapon, like the Hiraudo Devourer or the Lash Cannon without having to go to a far off planet or doing a tricky quest. The Save Editor can also give you the flags needed for saying you did x quest. But

It's only a sticky thread on this forum. :p

Edit: Obviously, if you use the Save Editor to blow through content and then complain that there isn't enough content...

Edit 2: There are some one shot events that you want to be careful with. Sera and Saendra's threesome, Shade's Uveto Christmas special, Puppyslutmas, etc. Be careful with flags.

And is it safe to use? How are your experiences with it?

Keep a pre save state just in case. I've used it for minor things (specific size on my dong because I was lazy and didn't save scum so my wang got a little too HUEG). It could be a little more user friendly. If you do use it, go slow and read the How To FIRST.

You mentioned to be careful with flags. How do I use them? Do I have to type something next to them?

Flags tell the game which things are which. Usually if x event has happened. IIRC it's either 0 or 1. Just don't mess with them unless it's something you want to mess with.

I see that some of them have info on what I have to type to get a certian result but for most of them I don't what to type. And I guess that some flags can interfere with others? Is there a list or something which gives more info on what exactly you have to type to get the results you want?

I just came to point out that, while the editor is definitely the easiest way to get stats, it doesn't take anywhere near 200-300 days to max out at the gym.

Probably because I spend so much time dicking around with the residents in and around the gym. :p

I also slept in the ship to lower soreness and recover energy. Never used the spa or other little tricks to time crunch.
