This is a thread for rating fantasy weapons! This will be a lot more general and not care so much about realism or stuff, and just be what we think! The scale is just a simple 5 outta 5 and nothing more to it!
Here is the first thing I’ll rate:
Ruby Rose’s Scythe Rifle, from the show RWBY!
This weapon is super cool! I know the show to put it lightly, but if it does one thing right, it’s having rad as heck weapon designs!
The main thing that makes this cool is the fact that not only does it allow the user to engage in melee and range, but also move about in interesting ways, using the recoil to move through the air and get up higher! Not only that, but the scythe blade allows for an area of effect with its melee swings.
However, being honest, it’s just a cool looking weapon, with a massive crescent blade that is very visible in silhouette, making a distinct impression! While I’m not a huge fan of the colors, they match the character who wields it and are a pretty classic combo, so it’s still pretty good!
Overall, I’d give it a 5/5! What a cool fucking the weapon!
