While some people may spread rumors about the company and its products, they are either disgruntled former workers or simply misinformed about its true nature. We promise you that there are no issues with either the work environment or the goods and services we provide to the general public. This pamphlet seeks only to inform and educate the reader on the company, and is in no way biased.
“History: In 567, Nathaniel Obdin, running a humble copper mine for the town of Myros, found the precious ore. As he dug deeper, he soon realized that he had found one of the largest veins of Lethicite in the world. Teaming up with Khys Marat, a catfolk merchant, the two were able to establish a large network of trade routes throughout the empire and become a dominant force in the market that continues to thrive to this day.
“Products: The Obdin-Marat Lethcite Company provides a large array of products, from Lethcite jewelry to Lethcite weapons. However, the company has also created a device that refines Lethcite and turns it into a liquid. This substance, called aEther, is a powerful source of magical energy that can be bought for 150 gold each. It has no negative side effects on the end user, despite what some so-called ‘alchemists’ say.
