I don't think there are any particular disadvantages to high Exhibitionism until you get Ultra-Exhibitionist. You don't get in combat in civilization much, so high passive Lust isn't generally a problem. I've never gotten it, but apparently it can also force strip-teases. If you want high Exhibitionism, you do have to maintain it.

Some of Erra's scenes require a minimum Exhibition level.

Exhibitionism now also mitigates the penalty for Teasing while Blind.
