Can having sex with Eryka in the wild after beating her also result in pregnancy or is it only possible after you helped her and she is in the chapel? I must have done it 20+ times now with her in the wild and nothing and I had 35+ fertility on this char, also went into heat for half of it and nothing. Then I tried helping her (which lowered my perfect 100 demonic score) and got pregnant on the second try in the church...

I don't know if it was coded that she can impregnate you in the wild but if she can, it's probably a pregnancy chance % like most other vaginal relation based on your character fertility and her virility. So you might ride her 100 times and never get pregnant or do it once and get it.
Based on Franks' doc (link here) the writing assumes Eryka is in Hawkthorne. So yeah, bring her back to town if you want little paladin babies.
