I finished howling in the dark but didn't actually meet Meridyx. I tried to use KQ_Meridyx 1 in the save editor, but am not encountering her in the old forest. Any other way to make her encounterable?
Edit save to have Meridyx available?

MERIDYX_REMOVE - this should be 0 or even better not present,
MERIDYX_INVITE - this should be 0 or even better not present,
KQ_THARSUS_DEF should be false or
KQ_THARSUS_DEF should be true with KQ_RESOLUTION = 2.
KQ_Meridyx -> it is only to decide if she likes you or not.
Just to be clear above will change outcome of the quest (not fully). I assume you ended the quest in a way that blocks her. For more I would need to inspect your save file.
Alternative approach but not tested - MERIDYX_INVITE set it to 1 - should add her button into camp followers menu.
