I'm seeing a lot of needlessly complicated procedures being recommended online, including third party software, installing older versions of flash etc. All of those are unsafe and unnecessary.

You can download a simple program from the official Adobe site here: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html. Both the debugger and projector work fine for me. From the main page, download CoC (right-click and "save as"). Then start up the debugger (or projector), load the CoC file and Bob's your uncle. I haven't encountered any issues so far, saving and loading also works fine.

Hoooolly shit! Thank you! I'm techtarded and do not understand computers hardly at all, but you helped me figure out how to play CoC on my new laptop when I probably would've never figured out otherwise because I'm an idiot. You have my eternal gratitude.

Since adobe closed all affiliated links, this leads to the end of life page and flash player is almost impossible to find. You can use https://web.archive.org/web/2022040....com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html To go to an earlier version of the page and download the debugger player from there. It still works to play CoC just fine without relying on 3rd party software.

Unless you have a way to run exe files on android no. The android APK might run on older phones/android versions tho

Does this work if I play the game through the browser?
No, most browsers have a hard cancel on flash stuff. there are some flash players out there, but they are primarily intended for specific flash point and click style games. Most of those 3rd party flash addons all use the same root program. With this method you need to download the debugger, open the executable (exe file), use the file dropdown to find and rune the coc.swf file. It will open a window that looks much the same as the original browser version, just not in your browser.

This link doesn't appear to work anymore it just takes me to a page that says adobe flash isn't supported anymore. Am I just being very dumb?
