When encountering Dreghan outside the hold, open up his appearance via the option to do so. It'll give you the option to use the menu at the hold despite being outside. You can use this menu to effectively TP to the hold via the Cuddles option, or just straight up have sex with him in the wrong room, making the scene play out in the wrong location.
