Does giving the probe to Shekka do anything outside of costing me money?

Like, does it affect her recruitment? For example giving it to her for free makes her recruit able without paying money, or is it a completely useless action thats there only for roleplaying purposes and maybe a few alignment point?

I think it discounts the recruitment cost or something.

Not like cash really matters though. It's piss easy to make money in the game so there's no reason to not be nice to Shekka.

There is reason to be nice to her tho she's a nice fun sized alien that wants to change her race from being New Texan scrappers, I commend the short alien for what she's doing and even more so for asking for help which for some can really hurt pride
