Do the artists actually know what proper cup sizes are?

This might be a weird thing to bring up for a porn game and the busts won't always be one to one but looking at the progression of cait's boob transformation art... the final one is not a G cup it's definitely closer to the end of the alphabet rivaling the irl biggest in the world... like her base as E is close enough but sizes don't jump THAT far per letter at least in the real world unless in universe the scale is much larger considering larger creatures but idk, it just seems off to me.

Not attacking the artists or writers, they do great work but these labels and sizes to me are more immersive if they are accurate. Just curious if there is a reason for the disparity or if I'm just over thinking it.

I am fairly sure that Moira knows what cup sizes are, yes. The short answer is that in-game cup sizes are more a comparative scale than anything meant to be taken as a real-world measurement (and there's no band size which you'd need for that anyways) and the entire game runs on Porn Logic to begin with so you shouldn't get too hung up on it.

It's also noteworthy that bra sizes as used in the game make no mention of band size, so I don't know how you're planning to get an accurate idea of what Cait's boobs look relative to Brienne or Kiyoko.

Some of the reasons for the disparity, are, in my opinion:
-The general audience likes really big boobs
-The general audience by and large doesn't know or care how bra sizes work
-More descriptive bra sizes would be very difficult to translate to an international audience as different countries use different bra sizes
-Body types in porn, especially drawn or animated porn, heavily skew towards very exaggerated and sexualised figures
-The general audience really likes really big boobs

There's a reason why I valued those old school CoC sprites: when it comes to vaguely described characters, busts give you visual cues... or ruin your mental image of this or that character. But, since that's no longer the case, I'd very much prefer it if busts stuck to their descriptions. Personal bias has it so that I can only focus on those thick thighs, forearm-sized penises and breasts the size of heads or beyond.

I wear bra but have no idea how to draw coherent cup size. So when I have to draw a realistict size, I go to a site named "boobpedia" wich has a list of actresses ordened by their cup size.

Worst thing is I did went to the "Beaux-Art" artschool for 5 years. But I damn can't visualise that kind of info without ref:catte:

Okay, it's clear that no matter how many different people have sex in this game, nothing and nobody gets fucked harder than gravity.

Not knocking toon knockers (that is what we all signed up for), but wanted to throw out some F-cup and H-cup comparisons. Note that real-life breasts actually get more hilariously big than what we typically get in-game. 36NNN breasts exist and the record-holder comes in at ZZZ. Which, imo, should be described as a breast size of "Yes."

IIrc, the old explanation is that cup sizes is Mareth (or in this case Savarra or the TiTS universe) are just different from our world's cup sizes. They're operating on a completely different scale as a whole, and thus can't be compared to real-world cup sizes.

I was just stopping by until I seen this talk about Cait's boob transformation size. >->
and all I have to say about this is. it's only a game, is not always going to be as close to the real thing.

sorry if I sound like I don't care, I do. but after playing TITS and COC'2 and seeing all the big and small boobs. is hard to add a tough of what makes since to a porn game. XD

Zag's basically right here. Frankly, dealing with band sizes and cup sizes for these characters in an accurate way (as opposed to a "this doesn't totally fit right, but it helps enough that I'll survive wearing it" way) would be a pain in the butt that the writers and artists probably shouldn't be responsible for given how little it actually matters. Cup sizes in this game exist mostly as shorthand for comparative booba because that's how most people in the audience understand cup sizes. Get a letter (or pair of letters, or three letters) that gets close enough and slap it into the character's appearance and move on; that's good enough for most characters, and honestly, with most characters in this game it works pretty well. The Adjatha memes mostly come out of TiTS art, not CoC2 art.

In this game, the most egregious "this doesn't totally seem right" cup size things mostly come as a result of Early DCL Concepts with characters not a hundred percent set in stone and from characters that have titty TFs where the relatively modest transformations that the writers make would end up in the art looking like they didn't actually make significant enough changes to the character to give them really big booba. Cait's art is both of these things.

However, one thing to keep in mind is how the writer envisioned their character. If they write a character with their appearance button explicit saying something like "she has modest sized boobs" and see in the art her walking around with the equivalent of E-cups then you'll hear some complaining.

I'd guess it's the same reason why 6+ft tall characters with 1ft long cocks somehow wind up drawn with penises easily matching the length of their entire torso.

Oh, its spring, and the boob threads begin to bloom.

This topic comes up on a semi-regular basis. Cup sizes are weird. They also do not really match up with IRL cups. Its the way it is. Does this help?

So yeah thats... yeah this isn't how boobs work, this scale looks almost exponential.
I've met girls with d cup and they are closer to C on this chart maybe B
But it's hard to say since clothing hides busts pretty well sometimes
But fine porn logic, the dicks that size would also be ridiculous so at least it's equal
Were those girls rabbit or androids too? Or just goblins?
Can I get their number if they're slime girls?

Agreed. The D-cups girl is closer to RL F or G-cups, I think. But then, the games don't take place in our reality, so that's fine, if a bit confusing.

It's always extremely funny to be a D-cup in real life and see what people without breasts think a D-cup looks like. And by funny I mean "I wore way-too-small bras for years because I consumed a lot of media made by non-breast-havers and thought a D meant big anime jibbly-jubblies."

You mean they're not? You mean various forms of media have lied to me? I can hardly believe it. Next you'll tell me shirts don't automatically conform to someone's breasts.

A shocking amount of "reality" is blind leading the blind due to media feedback loops. For more innocuous, though violent, examples, look at the sound silencers make in films (filmakers in "realistic" films fear audiences will reject their story if the "thwip" isn't in there) and, for a few generations, the explosive potential of automobiles.

Back to booba, I suspect that the proliferation of anime titties, and fake boobs before it, might well have created some erotic backlash. Real breasts can now be deemed by the unbreasted to be exotic and rarer than the non-holistic spheres of anime.
