Difference between Fuckbuddies and Polyamory for Berwyn and Matiha?

It's in the words themselves: FUCKbuddies - PolyAMORy. Anyway, if I remember correctly, the tooltips also express such if etymology isn't one's forte.

They might be looking for more concrete examples of differences than just how the characters will be referred to.
Like... if fuckbuddies means they will pop up in the future having scenes fucking other characters, and Polyamory means they'll only have scenes with your champion?

Not done that quest myself yet so have no ability to answer.
