Damage types and defense penetration

Hey,
I have a few questions concerning the damage calculation of certain skills, especially regarding the respective types of defense penetration.

a) Groping Tentacles scales with spellpower but does lust damage. Is its effectiveness affected by spell penetration or temptation?
b) An attack with a weapon buffed by a power such as Blue Flame Blade does both physical and elemental damage. Is the physical part affected by armor penetration and the elemental one by spell penetration?

The wiki and ingame tooltips are a bit unclear regarding such specific cases imho and I would be glad if someone could clarify this for me.

The wiki and in-game tooltips are kinda outdated. The wiki requires a lot of work by a small team, and the game is soon going to have a combat overhaul (I think) and then they'll update the codex
