Curved Sword question

Im having a hard time wrapping my head around trying to identify it exactly what kind of blade it is with description.

A medium-sized bronze sword with a bent, almost axe-like blade. Curved blades are common among the pale elves of the Frost Marches, who enjoy their supposed gracefulness. This weapon is made for chopping through light armor with its crushing blows.

And this the closet I can find, something called a Panabas.

Is this accurate? ((I doubt it... ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ ))

Yeah the axe part of the description is what throws me off. I was about to say I thought it was a falchion since some designs have a curve. I ironically thought a khopesh didn't fit.

Well fuck... now that I know that it just doesn't fit my character at all... guess I'm back to the short sword which sounds more like a typical arming sword.

But what if shotel?
I know they would likely go with more of a crescent/half-moon blade rather than "axe-like," but you never know - I may or may not also have a fervent wish to see a shotel in more than just only Dark Souls.
