the bug is in the appearance menu when you go to turn the armor transparent it locks you into the appearance menu

Specifically, 'Back' doesn't work properly. You can get out of it by pressing the bust button (M).
This also affects the Slave Uniform.

Playing latest public on website. 0.9.031-PUBLIC#2790. Got out using Level Stats as a doorway

Part of the issue is there are two ways to access the Appearance screen, and thus the Chameleon control. Player Bust and Codex. Player Bust seems to work correctly but access through the Codex does not.

0.9.038-PUBLIC#2915. Still softlocks via Codex. 'Back' cycles between 'Go Transparent/Pigment Armor' and the Codex.
Escapable by going into Level Up.

This & the Slave Uniform could probably be 'Interact' functions instead. (Interact seems underused, to me).
