Capturing Gytha?

So, I've finished the Palace of Ice quest, Alissa ran off, and Gytha has done the same. I've run into her in the woods near the gate a few times, now, and talked to her, and fucked her. I've also got the Wayfort Dungeon completed.

How... do I go about capturing her, though? It's not obvious to me at all.

Either
1. Later, you will learn of Alissa's location. You will have the potential option of meeting Gytha and deciding to jail her to prevent her from going to join Alissa. If you do, she's in jail. If you don't, you meet her later and... have the option to jail her then... with slightly different results.
or
2. You need to locate the Jotun Ice Sphere on the Glacial Rift that they made in preparation for war with the Winter City to capture pokemon elves and throw it at Gytha (make sure Shadow is not currently up and fighting) to capture her.

One of these two, is correct.
