I reinstalled chrome because my favicons were acting up, and after the fresh install, I can no longer Get the swf file to run properly. when i try to play it, I get the Notification:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."
How do i fix this error?

I couldn't get it to work on Chrome either, even after installing and reinstalling flash player so I just installed Firefox and it works well.

You need to enable flash within Chrome; can't just install the player, gotta turn it on in Settings.

Go to the Flash heading and click either "Allow sites to run Flash" or "Ask before allowing sites to run Flash," whichever you'd prefer.
the slider is blue, meaning it's on. still nothing

i figured it out. had to do an advanced search on google, but i found it. in chrome://settings/content/flash there is a slider marked ask first. turn that off to have normal functionality.
