Dreaming is a bit random. However the more diversified your Steele's experiences, recruitment, waifus? Likely will influence how many and quality of dreams.
Some dreams require sexual identification and/or actual physical endowments to trigger, let alone to be captured and repeated by the dream fapnia unit.
Try turning it off. Yes, counter-intuitive. But once you have had a naturally occurring dream, the fap machine can then replay it as you'd like. ^.^
