Cannot trigger the Elder Venus Plant scenes Help plz {SOLVED}

So I like to try and see every scene at least once.

I have, with a max level character, spent seven in game days. Nearing eight going North -> south on loop at the plant sigil on the southern side of the map. (The far right one. near the entrance to the light jungle where elders don't spawn.)

Either I've missed a sidequest that allows them to spawn. Or their encounter rates are so absurdly low its reaching 1 in a million or something crazy like that.

The wiki hasn't said anything of the former so can I have some help here?

The requirements to encounter them are that you've met a normal Venus Pitcher, you have a cock, pussy or cunt-tail, and that particular Elder isn't asleep; if all three of those are met, you're guaranteed to encounter them. Since you've already got the plant icon on the tile, it sounds like you've already encountered one; try encountering one of the other two.

They go to sleep once you meet them, and wake up the next day if you're not standing on their tile. This is tracked separately for each Elder. So, what I think might be happening is that you're standing on the Elder's tile every time the wake-up function is called, preventing it from being encounterable.
