Cannot play (Android)

Wanted to play the old CoC for s&gs and after the install game kept crashing before it could even start. Android version 9
Any advise would be nice

Will the game be ever made compatible with android 9-10 ? I really liked CoC 1 and would really enjoy playing it again. And i don't have an older android device.
