Can I safely update the TiTS app?

Updating to a new version is almost always safe, but ever so rarely a save-corrupting bug will slip through the tests and make it to a public version, so it's a good practice to save a copy of your game to your computer files before updating, just to have a backup in case something happens. Having those backups is also handy to safeguard against human errors, like accidentally deleting saves.
