Yep, here's an example of Savin stating quite clearly that we're not going to be traveling (much) beyond the Frost Marches and that includes Jassira and Tronarii being no-gos.
Best-case scenario outside of headcanon if someone wants to imagine their Champ going there would be for a possible ending variation where they and Cait head to Jassira together to follow up some plot points raised in Cat Call. Needless to say we won't know what sort of ending variations we're actually getting for a long time.
Why are we up in the frost marches anyway?
It seems strange to me to set a porn game up in the cold. Infact, this game seems to have a really strange interest in cold things/people... like, from a smut perspective, why on earth are ice elves cold when you fuck them? That sounds uncomfortable as fuck

You underestimate the power of ice when it comes to sex stuff. And I'm not even joking this time.
Ice play is a thing. It's not for everybody, but it's pretty stimulating. And I don't think they're supposed to be uncomfortably cold, just cool.
Watsonian Reason: Headcanon your own explanation using your Champion's chosen background as a guide. You're there for Reasons and since the game can't and won't provide them for you in detail it's up to you to come up with something you like.
Doylist Reason: Because that's where the portal linking Mareth and Savarra is, silly. Understanding why that is so would require an understanding of four-dimensional magical science, get comfy because there's gonna be a lot of math...
Or more seriously, 'why the Frost Marches?' is probably some combination of that particular part of Savarra working best for the purposes of the game and having fewer narrative disadvantages. It's got enough geographic and racial diversity to allow a lot of interesting environments and encounters with as many different types of characters as anyone cares to write (contrast areas like Jassira that are more homogeneous in their environment and by implication less diverse racially) and other locations might demand more writing investment in things that the writers aren't interested in focusing on and players wouldn't be as interested in reading about, like politics.
They're not so much cold as refreshingly cool. And I hear that Ryn's little candy cane has a pleasant minty aftertaste.

It varies. Elthara's temperature doesn't get mentioned much at all. Temperature doesn't come up much with Elyon, either, AFAIK - other than his skin being described as "cool". Jael'yn is only about as cool as the underside of a pillow. Ryn's usually described as refreshingly cold rather than uncomfortable, with the exception of deep anal, which gets closer to icy. Hethia's the only frost elf who's actually uncomfortably cold.
That's still literally on another continent, across the sea.
