As the title suggests, this happened after the second side quest for Berwyn (Matiha's Revenge) was completed and Berwyn became Wynne without the meat stick. Went back to the Inn and talked with Cait, selected the option "Berwyn3some", and had Cait wake them up gently. It threw the bug at me upon clicking "Next".
