After completing the Bothrioc diplomacy mission and getting the genetic material, what exactly do I get when I give it to Dr Lessau?
Does that mean the faction system will be repurposed/not completely ditched?Faction points for Steele Corp, which might be a thing eventually. If Savin ever completes his Galactic Stock Exchange thing.

Alternatively you *can* give it to Dr. Haswell instead, for 50k.
Brownie points with Steele corp.
This still gona work later ? or you have to do everything again ?Faction points for Steele Corp, which might be a thing eventually. If Savin ever completes his Galactic Stock Exchange thing.
It would be cool if selling it to Dr.Hasswell means they make a TF for it like the hybrid Myr TF.

No not really sorry. wich one is ? and thinking about you are right. but at least they are 3 times creep.Soldier660 Bothrics are humanoid, people have been trying to get actual spider and drider TFs in the game, and Nyrea are exactly creatures that force eggs on people so Bothrics are no different. And have you seen my halloween submission.

Actually remembering the gray goo makes me think of handso. What ever happened to her character. I just hold on to the storage bead and there's nothing else. I guess no one is writing anything else for her right?
Remember when SteeleTech was a mining company?Well so far SteeleTech has gotten from me the GrayGoo research for free, the Kashima parasite cells and the bothrioc genealogy. I think that said stuff accounts for something. Ah, and the orange myr pills.
Steele tech is a megacorp.Remember when SteeleTech was a mining company?
Megacorporation, mega-corporation, or megacorp, a term popularized by William Gibson,[citation needed] derives from the combination of the prefix mega- with the word corporation. It has become widespread in cyberpunk literature. It refers to a corporation (normally fictional) that is a massive conglomerate, holding monopolistic or near-monopolistic control over multiple markets (thus exhibiting both a horizontal and a vertical monopoly). Megacorps are so powerful that they can ignore the law, possess their own heavily armed (often military-sized) private armies, be the operator of a privatized police force, hold "sovereign" territory, and even act as outright governments. They often exercise a large degree of control over their employees, taking the idea of "corporate culture" to an extreme.
All the lore on SteeleTech paints it as a smaller company that -is- focused almost entirely on mining and technology related to mining. Slicky Vicky made his fortune claiming mineral deposits on strange new worlds.
At the beginning of the game you see plans for Steele Jr. to follow suit, like with the deposits on Mhenga, but splices became the most visible market in the game so eventually it felt weird for the PC's company to have no stake at all in the Main Thing of the game - so now you can dump mods on SteeleTech even though it doesn't have any real marketshare with them in the lore. There's basically just one private team that Victor hired to make him look less like he was designed by Cronenberg and more like a human. Since then content has kind of forgotten that SteeleTech is a mining company.
We should put anno for Vice President and Syri Internal Chief Police. Just in case.If we are going to refer to Gibson's model you can't be considered a mega corp and only do one thing. Also, "nicer" is all relative. That's like saying Stalin was nicer than Mao because he killed a few million less citizens via policy.
Think of a zaibatsu on steroids which no doubt, had a direct influence on Gibson's model of a megacorp.
Steele has daugther-companys, one of them owning Uveto. They are there for for the rare materials.
Then, there is also the Terran Treat, a Steele-Tech product and the goto pill for reversal of transformative effects. But it is one of the only Transformatives they offer.
I guess with Victors interests, it is only natural that they dipped into transformatives once they were big enogth to sustain it. And from there, it only got to its natural contiuation.
In future, Steele Tech may also provides a Bothrioc Counteragent for the comming Uplifting of them and also haveing personal friends with the heads of at least two goverments of three on Myrellion, a planet confirmed of being rich on a varaiety of Minerals.
I think we do stuff for our Company.
It's not a complaint any Lessau content but rather that so much of what you can give to SteeleTech has nothing at all do with their actual niche in the market, that there was never any attempt to follow up on mineral claiming as the main activity to advance the company.I don't think that's really fair, simply because when Couch wrote Lessau he was at pains to make clear they were a new sub-division of Steele Tech that were only set up when Vic realized his DNA was soup, and they are tiny in comparison to the likes of Xenogen. Their presence is relatively well explained. I think you often pick on really insubstantial things to complain about.
