best ship upgrade set up (sidewinder)

so just wanted to know what your thoughts were on the best upgrades for the sidewinder

i currently have 1 tuned emitter, 2 power core tuners, 1 advance crew quarters, 1 auxierly thruster and 1 thrust vectoring system leaving me with 4 more slots to use

ideas?

Mine has 2x Hardened Systems, 2x Missile Turrets, 1x Shield Vampire and the rest are Advanced Quarters.

Dr. Teyaal's most dangerous attacks (Shield Disruptor and Vampire) are opposed System checks, so they ignore Evasion. The Sidewinder has no weapons by default. The Shield Vampire is only there because I felt like using her tactics against her. The extra Systems + Missile Turret Accuracy also effectively negates the Slavebreaker's Spearhead Cloak.

They do, but weapons are included in your module capacity. If you fill all your module slots without weapons, you won't be able to install any. The weapon slot limit just means you can't make every module slot a weapon.

That said, if you did, you likely wouldn't have enough Energy to fire them all.

thats not true.... you have 3 weapon slots and 10 module slots on the side winder, getting weapons does not take module slots and getting modules does not take weapon slots

I know it used to work like I said. It's possible it's changed on me. And the Ship systems have had a number of bugs.

And I haven't played for a while. My converted save replaced the Fixed Equipment (Heavy Armor) with the Missile Turrets.

i have missle dock, coil cannon and em cannon as my weapons, and i ront know what the max number of crew member is nor how many slots i need to have all crew

You need 19 slots according to the Crew Wiki page. Advanced Quarters seem to give double what they should right now. See the stats in my previous post. I had 10 Crew Capacity in Flash and 20 in JavaScript.

I just prefer a EMP Turret, a couple shield boosters, and the rest being crew quarters. Then once Teyaal is out of the way, unless there's a future update with some actually dangerous ship fights, I generally remove the shield boosters and leave it at that. Any damage I take, Shekka ends up repairing.

It's not personal. I'm just a collector of exotic sapients. If one won't come with me, their future babies will.

I might as well list my typical loadout, which is absolutely not the best but gets everyone everything done with ease:

Missile Turret
Laser Turret
Machine Gun Turret lol???
Edit: I've also tried simply 3x Missile Turret

Shield Booster x1 (just in Kase case, or until Teyaal is done failboating at me)
Hardened Systems x1 (to mess with Teyaal's shield-vamp until she is done failboating at me)
Shield Upgrade x2-3 (edit: completely unnecessary)
Advanced Crew Quarters x?? (all remaining space; x10 after Teyaal)

In short: Strap on some weapons and maybe some other stuff, and you'll beat everything in the game. Space combat currently requires little build optimisation, so the rest of the sluts slots are for your harem crew.
