So I've been playing CoC1 for a bit now and I'm really impressed with how the characterization was done. There's a lot of detail and effort that went into a lot of these characters and I think they deserve a little discussion. Here are my best pick and a quick reason, in no particular order:
1. Helia - I like how upfront she is about her bullshit and lets the PC know who she is from the get-go without expositioning all her character lore in one conversation, she's very loving under the layers horny and trauma.
2. Kiha - Tsundere is Tsundere, so your mileage may vary. The archetype can be very annoying if done wrong, but the writer got the balance right and justified her being that way. She's got some of the hottest sex scenes in the game IMO and her interactions with TFs are interesting.
3. Marble - One of the best characters - second to one the worst girls - in the game. She's got a character arc, provides a mechanical function, and has preferences, but her sex scenes are lacking. She is a highlight of the game tho.
4. Katherine - Very much your ride-or-die gyol, she's really endearing from the different ways you can get introduced to her story arc's conclusion. She is highly customizable and show off the TF gimmick really well.
5. Kelly (Kelt) - Hear me out, the whole interaction in the story really did it for me because of the Ludonarritive harmony of the situation, Her H-scenes are sexy asf, and the backstory leaves just enough for you to both feel bad for him but still justify your response to his bullshit, my only peeve is that the Archery aspect shouldn't have been taken out of her character; would love to pound the pony while she shot an apple or prey. If not for my love centaurs Izma or Arian would have taken this spot.
Worst girls, They aren't worst because the quality of writing is shit but because they are unlikable, having unlikable characters isn't a bad thing as long as the have 1 or 2 qualities that offset those because it makes a cast interesting. It's like watching those drama channels on YT or Days of Our lives or Domestic Girlfriend for all the trash anime watchers.
1. Urta - The best character in the game and amongst the most annoying; she talks about loyalty but fucks other ppl on the regular, she'll get jealous of you fucking other ppl even when you both agree it's fine (poly problems), Causally fucks your harem members without you knowing (to where I'm like "you need to step off now"). Cool character kind of an ass tho.
2. Amily - One of the more demanding characters, she has a lot of boundaries, which is nice, but she comes off as a bit of a bitch with some interactions with her campmates but she passes into hypocrite territory in an interaction with Urta that genuinely annoyed me.
3. Sophie - On her own she's cool but the existence of Bimbo Sophie makes her look bad.
Nobody else had any depth enough to look into IMO but maybe I'm missing others.
