I've been trying to progress to the next point, but I'm not sure exactly how to make it happen. She's supposed to ask me about dreams at some point, but does this take place when visiting her, sleeping with her or spending time with her?

Edit: So, it turns out that the Sleep Fapnea overrides this particular event.

I do, but what I'm asking is how is the event actually triggered? Does she wake me up in the middle of the night or in the morning? Does she just bring it up randomly when I stop by? Do I have to talk to her for her to bring it up?

Make her your "sleep with" partner i.e. the one who sometimes shares the bed with you when you go to sleep. Then, go to sleep while on your ship (the time you do this at doesn't matter). If you don't have a dream, there's a 1 in 3 chance that her morning event router will be called when you wake up; if that happens, there's a 50% chance that you'll get the scene where she asks about dreaming. So, it's effectively a 1 in 6 chance if you don't get a dream. Once you've seen that scene, event 27 should be able to take place as her events normally do (assuming you meet all the other requirements).

I found out why it wasn't working. The Sleep Fapnea overrides that particular event. Gotta turn it off to proceed.

I forgot about it entirely. You switch it on, set it to free and never really need to bother with it (except for this one time.)
