Currently doing Bess's events and I got to her final event. It says she is missing but is in my crew and I want to complete her events.

Yeah I clicked on it and my ships have turrets. I bought all of Vahn's ship guns. And when I visit Mhenga or New Texas it says she is missing on my stats but she is still in my ship as crew.
Vahn's guns aren't turrets. those can only be bought from the Dockmaster on Tarkus, and her ship stuff is not enabled.
So, unless the ship you have already came with turrets (either the MS-XI or Kiro's Blade), the event won't fire.
I have the MS-XI (clydesdale also has a turret btw), and I'm encountering the same bug
I found AN issue. Let me test (ty for save).
edit: found and fixed two issues, and tested the event to make sure. Basically, the room check was broken and the turret check was broken. Should be fixed for next!

I currently have the sledgehammer but it still says she is missing so is this a bug or is it just the requirements still?
Both. Sledgehammer won't trigger it, you need either the Blade, MS-XI, or Clydesdale. No other ships will work until the dockmaster lets you buy her turrets. But also the fix hasn't been pushed yet. watch for the version number to tick up on the main screen, then try again.
