I feel like I'm stupid trying to figure this out, but I wanted to try out the new Berwyn content but I have no idea how you become his sub. So I guess the question is what exactly do you need to do to become his sub? is there like a hidden counter based on interactions or is a specific event maybe dialogue?

Does it matter how you are with Berwyn before he becomes a companion? That is, if you lose to him a lot in battle before becomes a companion does it increase his dominance over you? Or does the variable only change when he is recruitable?

I have been taking that doggie dong ALL day, every day for 12 in game days and still nothing. Is it because my character is a herm or do I just have the worst luck ever?

You're sure you're on the right version? It says 0.2.44 at the title screen? I should note at release you'd have to do it 20 times, but I put out a hotfix that it can take as few as 5 depending on which actions you do.

Ah, that would be the problem. I play in browser, but it's always updated fine on it's own. It says its build 0.2.40. How would I go about updating it? Sorry, I'm fairly low-tech....

Assuming you're using chrome: click the 3 dots in the top right, click settings, scroll down and hit privacy, click clear browsing data, UNCHECK browsing history and site data (if they are checked you will lose your local saves), click clear data.

I'd recommend going in and saving directly to your tablet first just in case it wipes out the browser saves.

Thanks again, this helped a LOT! Now to enjoy some adventuring!

Yeah, I had to do a refresh (hitting F5 while using Firefox) for the new content to appear this time. Sometimes the new version loads on it's own, sometimes you have to refresh the browser.

So if the new content doesn't seem to show up while playing, try refreshing the browser and see if that helps first.
