Curious if the Attack Drone perk is worth it in the long run compared to Shield Booster considering that Attack Drone doesn't seem to get involved if you have others that take its place as an item such as a blade doggo or bimbo centaur or shoulder cannon, etc. Or perhaps this was changed and I miss it somehow?

Attack Drone gives +1 damage/level. It's also required to get Tam-Wolf 2.0 and the Laser Drone from the Deep-Sea Research Facility on Uveto.
It does not increase Bimbo (-Domme) Tease damage, nor the damage of 'drones' like the Shoulder Grunch or Varmint.
I've also found that my Shields rarely go down, even without Shield Booster and not maxing Shield bonus from clothing, but that may be because I went Melee.

Ahh, Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware that you need an Attack Drone perk for the upgrades. I thought it was just Tech Specialist Class that did the trick. Also, you do have points with Shield rarely go down once you have a good shield as most end game losses tend to be from Lust as there not much defense against Tease and the like. If only I can have both Drone and 'Drone'. I tend to take Shoulder Grunch over a drone, altogether Drone have more attack, the Shoulder Grunch make me feel like a predator, hence why I was asking about that.
The Combat Tail implant on Dhaal gives a second 'Drone' that stacks with the default or Accessory. It also benefits from Attack Drone & Drone Control.
Huh, I should look into that, but my man, Shoulder Grunch, a literally shoulder cannon. I guess the weapon out of your tail is nice but still. I am at the point that where combat is nontrivial at the moment, so I just doing it for roleplay or fashion. and I choose the look of a gun on my shoulder over the tail. I just wish I can have multiple drones or Accessories, etc.
