Title. I would assume the old one would just go in your inventory, seems extremely punishing to just full-on lose it, especially when one of them costs nearly 1 million credits (I mean, you can just cheese blackjack, but it seems like it'd be preferable for that to not be necessary).
Are you meant to lose any implants if you install another implant?

My point is that if you switch them out, you don't get it back in your inventory to reinstall each time. I'm well aware I only get one of each. That's what I meant by "I would assume the old one would just go in your inventory". Thought that was pretty clear.

Yeah, I guess I'm just annoyed that I needed to put out 750,000 credits to go do the pollen festival, and then get rid of it immediately.
Infertile is a particularly useless starter perk. It's easily replicated for 600/750 Credits via Sterilex. And that version is easily removable if you change your mind (Fertite+).
Frankly, I think the starter perks in general could use an overhaul. The only ones worth anything are Ice Cold and Incubator.

Yeah, I generally take it because I'm like "yeah I don't wanna engage with the pregnancy content except for when I very rarely want to" but it's fucking annoying that it's so inconvenient and kinda a noobtrap to do that.
