According to the wiki, If you give amber gush, the scenes/outcome are supposed to be different depending on whether or not you were top or bottom upon recruiting her, but i cannot figure out what the differences are... unless they are so small and unnoticeable as to be pure flavor text

IIRC (I wrote this a while ago), the only things top/bottom matter for are some scenes that pick a preference like oh, you were a top so hopefully you don't mind topping her in this event again. Can't help on the specifics, sorry. Could just be flavour text.
