So I'm doing the quest on Tavros where you help the UGS raid the base and at what I cam assume is the end, a void juggernaut and two security drones walk out. Im max level and decked out, using a vamp sword and a shock gun and I cant even take the juggernaut down. Am I the only one finding this guy overly difficult or am I just doing something wrong? Tips?

Depends really on what you have on hand and what is your occupation. The Vamp Blade and the Shock Gun will not be enough to take him down. Max out your specialty (Iam taking a guess that you are either a Smuggler or a Tech Specialist), with the appropriate perks (I personally love my Balanced TechSpec with offensive drone), and then I suggest decking out your PC with some heavy duty armor and Weapons

Here is my Gear
Equipment:
Melee Weapon: Saurmorian Hammer(Chaurmine Gift)/Plasma Tomahawk(Uveto)/JoltHammer(Emmy, Myrellion)/Predator Talons
Ranged Weapon: Saurmorian Railgun(Chaurmine Gift)/Blacklight(Uveto)/FZR Fire Suppresion System(Shekka,Tarkus)
Armor: Premium Armstrong Suit
Shield: Reaper Armaments Mark I Shield Generator
Accessory: Fenris-class Assault Drone, Version 2.0
Underwear Bottom: Hardlight Anti-grav Thong
Underwear Top: Hardlight Anti-grav Bra

If you have a balance between Melee and Range the Saurmorian Hammer and FZR FSS Combo is spectacular; if the debuff sticks, the juggernaut will lose get a stat debuff, and if he gets hit with the Saurmorian Hammer, the Juggernaut will suffer more damage and a higher chance of a critical hit.

This is if your a Tech Spec and my personal choice in abilities
L1 Attack Drone
L2 Charge Weapon
L3 Power Surge/Deflector Regenerator
L4 Thermal Disruptor
L5 Gun Tweaks/Weapon Tweaks (Personal Preference, However Charge Weapon gives the weapon you are holding energy perk, activating the Weapon Tweak ability on non-energy melee weapon)
L6 Charge Shield
L7 Second Attack/Shot (Again Personal Preference)
L8 Drone Control
L9 Boosted Charges

I've not done that content, I'm adverse to it, but have you tried teasing? I forget if Karaquest juggy was immune or not.

Juggy hits really hard. Focus fire on him, try not to get hit. I think I did a take cover, rapid fire, rapid fire, done.

Not 100% necessary, but being level 10 really helps.
Ranged focused Mercenary, I had

Melee Weapon: Lava Saber
Ranged Weapon: Tweaked Salamander Rifle
Armor: Suit of Chitin Plates
Shield: Reaper Armaments Mark I Shield Generator
Accessory: Salamander Longcoat

The perks that I think really helped me were Concentrate Fire and Second Shot, as well as Second Wind.

Take cover, two rounds of Shoot, rinse and repeat. Make use of the Second Wind and maybe get some Gray Microbots for the healing when you need it. It might take a couple of times, but its doable. That said, I barely survived the fight with 22 health left.

Honestly using a ranged mercenary is crippling yourself.

Sunder is the most powerful anti-boss skill in game.

Headbutt helps. And honestly, I prefer ranged over melee in TiTS.

It took me 3 turns as a ranged merc to take down the Juggernaut in that fight. I wasn't even wearing armor, my Steele was wearing a maid outfit. It took longer to finish off his drones than it did to drop him.

...kind of wish Riya would say something if you show up in anything that isn't armor for the raid.

Something to be said about playing in easy mode, eh?

Try again (though playing ranged merc does make combat easy).

The fight isn't hard. Unbalanced? Yes. Take cover buys you time against the Juggernauts ridiculous damage. After that you just have to turn the DPS hose on the boss, don't worry about drones. Juggernaut doesn't even have the HP of a boss type character. Wasn't using my Secure MP so you have a possible 6 attacks on him with Rapid Fire. With Secure MP it would have been 8 albeit at a lower damage. I believe I was using the lmg. Don't know if it was intentional but the fight is essentially a beginner's trap for everyone unfamiliar with this boss' damage output. Once you know, if you've taken on Lash or the snow dragon thing there isn't much difference in strategy for the other classes. Buff up, carry heals, try to lock down the boss, DPS and pray that a series of bad rolls doesn't take place.

All this advice is really useful, thank you guys. I'll try seeing about tweaking my build by reverting to an earlier save because all these ideas not only sound fun but also sound useful, so thanks yet again~!

The juggernaut deals pure kinetic bullet damage, so get an armor with high kinetic resistance, high defense or the ablative or plated tag which reduce bullet damage by 15%.
