A quite tactful video I found by gamertron.

So someone finally said it, that liking porn or erotic games is NOT evil or immoral. I know that its old news for us, the denizens of this smutty place. But it just feels so good to hear words like that out there for even the normies to find.

I've actually been keeping an eye on this ever since the video Gamertron posted it and found it in my recommendations on Youtube.

The game originally had £600K but now its up to £1,668,626 which is staggeringly beautiful in this man's opinion! I think it's time smut took center stage and show people what the 'darksde' of the internet has to show the AAA Gaming Industry. Sure, it will have an AO (Adults Only) rating but it will have something a lot more to offer people who wanted more from Mass Effect but didn't get - watching your character fuck the lethicite out of some space babes and aliens. From what people are describing it, it does seems to offer that notion that it will play like an ME title and have the good stuff mixed in. If the narrative is as good as it's smut writing and plays with great visual effects with Bioware grade rendering and textures, sign my ass up for this.

My "other" Thoughts
But I have my own reservations about this, what's gonna stop FOW Studios from taking the kickstarter money and giving the backers the finger and just jump over to Epic Games? It would be a grand disappointment if they did this after giving them the benefit of the doubt. This whole PC Launcher War is starting to become a Console War which is funny because of the "PC Master Race" mantra having no equal to rival the superior tech PC owners create. While at the same time, companies are sick of getting the short end of the Steam stick and figure Epic is better for that sweet, sweet liquidity!

Devs: "Yes Daddy! Right there, stick that hot liquidity in my cocksleeve!
Epic: "You want some liquidity, do you ya?"
Devs: "Ooooo yeah!"

Devs: "Well ... shit"

Epic took a hard stance against porn games. They specifically insulted Steam for it.

I honestly think we have too many violent games as it is. I prefer if we had an overly sexual culture versus an ultra-violent one, as i stated a lot of times on videos. The same amount of dopamine released from the gratification of seeing and watching violence is the same as a climatic orgasm during sex (no source) so it would make sense to replace one vice for another.

Personal Input:
I don't approve of violence, not a confrontational person by nature, but it does become a bit too much when i see gore and i think "this is fine, I've seen better". I'm desensitized by violence as are many people because we're exposed to a bunch of violent movies, video games, comic books, manga, art and music centered around it. It could be because i enjoy violence and doesn't appeal to me find a good alternative in a sexual nature, but if there were good examples of media and content worth the time and effort put into it; i could find that more appealing because those alternatives would get me in the habit of exploring a different side of myself. Like cigarettes, they're not good for you and at the time, there weren't many options to get off them except quitting cold turkey. Nowadays we have vaping pens, nicotine patches, nicotine gum, self-help books and other treatments for a ridiculous price but it does exist and those work for people.

I believe our culture could benefit from more sexual content and the mantra: "Make Love, not War" which is kinda what Fenoxo uses in his games, which is what i love about it. Corruption of Champions, a concept of a fantasy adventure game with a grim alternate world hyper sexualized and minimally violent to connect conflict and intrigue where as some games like to use a similar concept with hyper violence and little to no sexualization to speak of aside from the romantic variety (which can be chalked up to hamfisted in for the sake of TV Tropes). The appeal is there, the audience loves it and it gains traction which can be called a classic game for any person's library of all time favorite games with Trials in Tainted Space following soon after because they're memorable for bringing a huge sense of wonder and uniqueness to the table. Originality at its best and none of it feels like it belongs to another IP or some other person's work.

I think Subverse can be a visual representation of what a TITS game could be like to the mainstream audience if it is done right, bringing the originality and uniqueness to the table through a different lens (so to speak).
