canuck land.
Instead of making several threads, I will ask my questions and here.
Question 1 what age is this time period around? (Technology wise.) Say on a scale from early medieval times to early Renaissance, a confusing question, with the first coc game, they had some industrial machines like milkers on Whitney's farm and the demon factory but the majority of civilizations seem to be in a post-industrial era. Some more modern things explained by magic like the ice cream shop with the magic spells.
Question 2 If the Gods from the first game appear in the game, not in passing or rumors are they the same Gods as in coc 1 or a different version altogether?
Question 3 the content that this game takes place on seems much better of then Mareth, for now, at-least will there be any major kingdoms that may aid you in your quest if not a kingdom possible city-states?
Question 4 Will there be weapon upgrades?
Thank you for your time. :)

A1. The late bronze age, though there are remnants of a (somewhat) more advanced civilization hidden around in ruins. Obviously some liberties are taken for the sake of the sexiness, especially with regard to armor/clothing design and stuff like latex existing (don't worry, it's organically harvested from goo-girls).

A2. Savarra has a completely different pantheon from Marae, and they are different entities.

A3. There aren't really any major nation-states in the region anymore. There was one, the Belharan Empire, but it balkanized pretty severely after the Godswar. There are three planned city-states, though, (Tychris, the Winter City, and Khor'minos) and you'll be able to visit all of them and interact with their leadership. Maybe they'll help you, or maybe they'll be bosses~

A4. Not planned. The core mechanics are balanced around percentage scaling so you can keep using the same gear through the whole game (eg. if your outfit has an Armor rating of 30, it'll absorb 30% of damage at level 1 and level 10). Of course you can find better kit to replace the starting stuff in Hawkethorne, like ye olde magic swords. There are also (at least) two planned Mage-Smiths, though exactly what and how they work hasn't been decided yet -- though I'd rather not just have them make generic +1 Swords and the like. But we'll see!

You could have the mage-smiths add specific effects to your armor instead of a generic increase, like more damage resistance, or a boost to spell power, maybe a stat increase, things like that.
