"Have you ever dreamed about living almost forever? To not fear death and ilnesses anymore? To be young and full of energy again? Well, I guess your dreams can come true" - SEBASTIAN BALES, NEXTGEN GENETICS CO.

CLONED is a multi chapter adult game/visual novel about a cloned girl, who's fighting for her survival. Right now, in 2016, where technology is advancing rapidly, a genetics corporation called "NEXTGEN" has found a way to extend human's lifespan by cloning people and performing brain transplantation from their old sick bag of bones to a new young and healthy cloned body. But the first cloned woman, Eve, has found out about her destiny and decided to rebel. Will you help her out?

THIS NOVEL is split into four chapers: prologue, chapter I, II, and III, Each chapter evolves by the way you play: game contains various dialog options, quick time events that affect all the characters in the game. For example, if you will choose to help Eve only, relationship statuses with other girls will decrease On the other hand, if you will show attention to other characters and forget Eve, she won't be able to survive. Each decision can lead to a different ending.

Hmm...I really don't know what I felt about that.

So...the graphics were alright, and the story was okay, the grammar was lacking but acceptable...I'm not really sure what I didn't like about this, but it was just lacking...something...

For a start it felt more like a move trailer than a game, which I know was kind of the effect you were going for but it just felt really out of place.

And in every scene, apart from the first discussion where you are playing the part of the journalist, there is only 1 option, 1 thing to click on, I know it's beta but it just seems pointless to have only 1 thing to click on...I don't know, I know it's early days but it will need to change quite a bit more before it grabs my interest enough to donate to you.

Thanks for your response and sorry for my english, it's not my native language. You're right, prologue is meant to be something like a tutorial or a trailer as you said, to introduce this game to people. In the other chapters you will find a lot of stuff to do like navigating through rooms, choosing what to do and not to, driving through the city and even choosing a car to drive:

That sounds cool, I mean, it has potential, I just wonder if it will work out the way I imagine it, I guess only time will tell. Also will there be a currency system? Like I think having to save up money to buy a cool car and before then you have to go around in an old banger would be pretty cool.

Also one note about the UI, the little arrow on the bottom right that you have to click, actually took me a while to notice, I feel like just clicking anywhere on the text at the bottom of the screen should be sufficient.

This looks good. But....I'm not fond of the art style. It seems like this type of art is being used more and more lately and just looks....stale.

What do you mean by "this type" of art style? Do you refer to it being 3D or do you mean the program that was being used? What would you like to see instead? Drawings? Or can you show an example of an art style that you'd prefer?

Greetings and welcome back!

I proudly announce that Chapter 1 of my game CLONED is finished and is available for DONATOS(5$ patrons)!

WHAT'S NEW?

  • Storyline is increased. Play as Eric, the main character, before he met Eve. Make decisions between other characters that will have effect to other chapters.
  • Settings. Prologue had a "settings" button which had no reaction. Now by clicking that you can change from fullscreen to windowed mode for better graphics and performance or mute/unmute all sounds of the game.
  • Design. While Prologue had green marks everywhere in freeroam mode, Chapter I has special icons for interaction which makes game easier to play and more attractive. Dialogue system has changed too, from 4 black bars with dialogue options to more interesting design.

This is pretty much just like lots of other games, it doesn't get you hard while looking at it. Mainly because 3D art is overused to the point that it doesn't do anything for me. In fact it makes me cringe.
