After bribing the engineer i picked up the "Black Void plate armor" and equipped it and moved south what led to the crash. When trying to reproduce what i did before, it didn't led to a crash again immediately. I needed to move around a bit more. I did some tests with just picking up the armor without equipping it, and leaving it behind. It looks like the crash is realted to picking up the armor.

I had the same crash, same error message and everything. I was walking around the courtyard, and I believe it was trying to go to the space below the tank that crashed it. I had just arrived, so it wasn't the armor.
