Likely not a bug, but in case it's simply an oversight:
The Ring Peach has two options when altering the Champion's face. Either it gives you a raccoon mask over your still human-shaped face, or it changes your face to a raccoon's muzzle, whiskers and all.
Unfortunately for the latter option, the Ring Peach does not set nor add the Furred tag to the Champion's face, only the Muzzle tag, meaning that you get a weird raccoon-shaped but furless muzzle (which is a very odd visual).
I imagine the two modes are supposed to represent the half-nuki like Meira and Senja and the full 'nuki like Evergreen herself, so it's odd to me that it comes default furless. And unfortunately, as most of the facial options tend to set tags rather than add or subtract them, I don't think there's currently a way to get a Tanuki face with the Furred tag.
After having tested, the underlined line does go away when you have the Furred tag, so it would work, it's just currently not possible to my knowledge.
