Note that I'm on the Artifice Testing quest, so this may be related to another recent thread, but in my case I can get through the combat reliably when using other abilities, it's just the moment I try to use Kiyoko's AOE I get the below Critical Error:

I initially thought it was wholly based on affecting enemy cooldowns until I saw the other thread with a different Critical Error in the same fight. I tried fighting a random encounter outside the camp and everything worked fine, so it's not Kiyoko's ability itself, it seems like it's either the specific quest encounter or maybe that type of construct enemy.
