Not a bug per se, but a somewhat confusing design -- when approaching Zheng Shi, after inquiring Kiro about the password and learning what it is, you're presented with a screen:
this can lead the player to believe the correct password was helpfully entered for them in the input box (as they've just learnt it and technically know it at this point) However, the input box is actually empty, and hitting "Submit" causes a fail and a battle. You have to first click the input box and enter the password manually for it to take.
Given this, actually auto-filling the input box so all the player has to do is hit "Submit" (or defaulting empty string to correct password if the PC knows it at this point) might be a sensible tweak?
