After striking a deal with Quadomme Bothrioc to bring her replacement incubator, starting a random encounter indicates the possibility of luring your opponent:
the combat panel is equipped with extra button, "Retreat" which is indicated to perform the luring. Two problems:
#1 hitting this button provides zero action feedback; it probably goes to wrong output?
#2 after a few turns of pressing "Retreat" the combat apparently ends, as it's replaced with "Next" button. However, pressing "Next" simply closes the combat panel. There's, again, zero feedback on what's happened. Going by information in the quest log luring itself does work, as "Quadommes to Summit:" counter appears/updates accordingly.
edit: included savefile. Hit "wait 5 mins" a few times to trigger luring-enabled encounter at current location.
