I used Blood Iris before a fight, and noticed that the buff from the consumable overrides buffs like Song of Storms. The ability is used and goes on cooldown, but the weapon buff remains the buff from the consumable and Song of Storms isn't applied at all.
I tested the party weapon buff from Dawnbreak encounter power, and it would prevent the application of Viv's elemental damage buffs as well. Or it would say they got the buff and it stacks but then get removed when its that characters turn.
Upon testing more with Ryn's ult as well, all damage buffs but the original buff is removed when it's that character's turn.
