So noticed this while looking through the wiki and then confirmed it on the current version noted in the subject line - In the Reproduction section of the Codex, it states once laid in a host the gestation is 10-12 days before being ejected and hatching. However when you actually get eggs in game the actual duration seems to be around 40~ days for full duration pregnancies. (Wiki says 60 days for full duration - I did double check that in game I had short pregnancies off).
I actually hope the codex provides the correct duration, but one or the other should be updated for accuracy.
