Entering from the Ways Between then sleeping in Matiha tower causes you to be teleported to your last camp location and removes the ability to save the game, re-entering and leaving the ways between fixes the saving issue
this is for Solo Berwyn, i dont know if the issue happens if Matiha is there (choose to sent Matiha to the wayfort)

In the WayFort entering Matiha room does not give a option to back out and leave, you either need to sleep with her or "sleep" with her
