Found this one while going through bad end encounters to see the scenes and as the title says, if you lose/surrender to Azami in Den of Foxes then upon retrying the encounter is skipped. Only does it with that encounter and none of the other fights, and I've repeated this on a couple characters without fail including a new character rushed to it.
edit: after trying on another character, it seems to only happen if you have interacted with and given food to Hinata, Yuzu, and Kiri before doing Den of Foxes. The other characters I rushed with had all run across them and given them food on the way there, only had it behave correctly when they didn't know me in the encounter
