Im using the android downloaded game

Just started happening today

Happens in all save files and all battles

Have the same issue now. Not a 100% sure, but I believe it happened after the latest android update, with having the same apk.

I had this happen to me too on a mac using google chrome. Switching my browser over to firefox fixed it for me
