Thanks! I'll get that sorted. 1: No, I'm afraid not. The UI uses an old library that isn't supported by Android verisons of Java. 2: If you mean mid-game "game over" situations, then not really. There's a few ways to get a game over in the intro scene (by choosing options that basically say...

Thanks OrangeJuice! Those should be sorted now :)

Thanks! Those should all be sorted out. The only option in the new impregnator scenes that directly increases anxiety is if you root around in her trash - it's the cost of taking the guaranteed way to pass the scene.

That's correct. Jobcentre is a proper noun for the organisation that run the places: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jobcentre_Plus Thanks! I'll get that fixed.

Hi! So, it's been a little time since I logged in here. I mean, not all that long, but just a tiny little delay. Thanks for your comments and bug reports! I have been reading them and they should hopefully be picked up now. I've had a look over the code and there is indeed a couple cheat...

Thanks! I'll be putting out a patch release soon with that bug fixed. Not sure how it ended up in there: I'm sure I had successful test runs through that scene at some point, so I must have introduced it while making changes and forgotten to re-test. I've made some improvements to the jerk...

Hi all, 0.4.16 has been released and you can now get married in Newlife! The changelog is at https://splendidostrich.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/newlife-0416-do-you-hear-wedding-bells.html The public version's up to 0.4.15 now which includes a scene where you take revenge on your bf's jerk friend -...

Thanks! I've got most of those fixed. The bridesmaids not appearing in "describe people" is necessary: the scene doesn't sort out their clothing etc until the player chooses one. This leaves open the possibility of having separate outfits for bridesmaids and normal guests - guests will be added...

Thanks! I'll get those fixed. The guy will make up to 4 seduction attempts including the repair scene, one of which can only fire if you've gone on a date with someone other than your bf. The revenge option can fire once two have been rejected. If it happens once you've rejected all four then...

Hi all, thanks for the bug reports - much appreciated! Mokeo: I couldn't replicate the issue in the latest version. If this is still happening for you, could you run the game from the windows console (see the Getting Started page on the blog if you need a guide on how to do this) and let me...

Thanks! I've fixed all of those except for the blank action - that'll be in the sex scene which is quite messy code that I mostly wrote long ago and is split over several files... it'll take a bit more investigation to track down.

It's a weekend-timeslot random event, so it won't fire if you're always doing actions on the weekend that have their own fixed events (e.g. shopping, gym). The conditions are: - PC must not be visibly pregnant (you can be pregnant and know it, as long as it isn't showing) - Must not have...

Thank you! I'll get that fixed - it was just a superfluous comma. Vows have an NPC response based on a score which is affected by personality, traits and vow type. Impregnators are a bit more restrained in relationships because they might have to actually raise the child but as far as I can see...

Thanks! I've got most of those sorted - wedding outfits being white only is just a simplification for the moment - cream underwear isn't generated by the game at present. As for giving birth, I may look into maternity leave with the work update, but that's fairly low priority. At the moment the...

    Tips for taking written submissions

Perhaps not, but I've had a lot of requests from players to allow submissions and there may be some gems there. Even if most submissions aren't worth using, getting a system in place and properly tested by real use will allow me to look into paid commissions.

    Tips for taking written submissions

Thanks! I had a look around and I've found Fenoxo's one. I'll use that as a starting point, although of I imagine it'll need some tweaking to be more suited to my own game.

    Tips for taking written submissions

Thanks! This is some really useful stuff. As the Silver Bard said, I'll initially be looking at voluntary submissions: I've had a number of people ask for a system to send these in in the past. Later on I want to consider paid contributions, but only once I've ironed out the kinks with the...

    Tips for taking written submissions

Hi all! After some false starts I'm finally putting together a system to let players submit content for my game. One of my concerns about this is that I might get swamped with low-quality submissions that will eat up my time and lead to bad feeling from the writers when they're rejected. In an...
