Try to reload an older save before doing the quest, if you have one. If not, live with the fact you f*cked up and start getting into a habit of saving a lot, especially before moments like these. You have multiple slots - use them. Save into a file if you need to.

If it makes you feel better, I will say that I do like that you made a comprehensive list of entries for easy access to submissions for anyone that wants to read them and set up some basic rules like the entry needs to be finished before submitting.

Your tails need to be prehensile or simply they need a prehensile tag.
